Busy, busy, busy. This week, I have enjoyed reading Percy Jackson, planning for Pie Palooza, choir, marketing, cleaning – okay, not that one so much – organizing, playing with my kids, and being with my cousins, because my sweetheart was in Boston this weekend! He flew out on Friday to be there for his grandmother’s 90th birthday. I’m really glad he had the chance to go out there. We sure missed him here, but we were well taken care of by my cousins, Lindsay and Kathryn. Lindsay’s husband, Sam, was out of town on a Rugby team trip, so she spent the night here Friday. We went shopping, relaxed, and attended a ward activity up in the mountains the next day. Elli LOVES going down slides. It is one of her new passions. Anjali has always loved it and had a blast up at the lodge we went to (complete with an indoor playground/treehouse combo.) That night, Kathryn came and stayed the night when Sam came in and Lindsay went home. Kathryn helped me out at church today – thank goodness, too, the girls were absolutely crazy!

I was never so happy to see my husband arrive safe and sound this evening. The home feels so much better with him here. I’m so grateful for him.

Elli found Anjali’s stash of underwear while she was at Preschool.

She spread this pair across her middle and came to me, saying, “Ah, ah, ah.”

“You want to wear them?” I ask. “Yeah,” she says.

On they went. And she was like that until I took them off before Anjali

got off the bus!

Mommy’s glasses!

My little model, if you know what I mean.

I’m in love with this face!
