Ride On

08 Aug Posted by | 0 Comments
Two big milestones for our girls this week. #1 – Elli started standing like a champ! She’s standing on everything. She’s such a big girl. I can’t believe my baby is growing up so much. It makes me happy to see her grow up and learn and accomplish big things, but it also makes me so sad because she’s my little baby and I’m going to miss this first year dearly.

Moving on. #2 – Anjali started going poo on the potty! I’m not sure what it was that made her decide to do it, but she did. On Tuesday, she finally sat down and did it. I don’t know if I’ve ever been so excited about anything in my life! As such, my Uncle Curtis and Aunt Nancy promised Anjali that if she did her duty on the toilet, we could drive up to their house and give her a horseback ride. Ride she did and she loved it! Yay, Anjali! She’s still doing pretty well! Just a little accident here or there. Nighttimes not so much…

I love life!
Can’t you tell?

I am really, really, really, really, really, really bad
at taking my vitamins every day. Gag reflex + forgetfulness =
Me No Likey.
So… Dovy sets out my iron and my multivitamins every day
on my breakfast bowl spoon so that I’ll remember to take them.
Now, isn’t that the epitome of true love?

When Anjali finished, Curtis told her it was time to get off.
She then coerced Aunt Nancy into getting on the horse to ride, as well.
Off they went! Little heart-melter.

What a little cutie!

It’s impossible to keep her down now.
Her smile melts my heart and I’m going to miss
the gummy part of it when she gets all of her teeth.
