Sisters

18 Apr Posted by | 1 comment
My daughters love each other so much. I couldn’t be more grateful for that. I love seeing them laugh with each other. I love it when Anjali tries to help Elli stop crying. She really is her little guardian angel on earth. I love that Elli is so sensitive to Anjali’s feelings. They were indubitably meant to be sisters, meant to help each other on this earth together, meant to lift each other up. I sincerely hope they stay just as good of friends as they are now… and become closer throughout the years.

This week, I had a falling out with my car. It had been – ahem – since I last had the chance to clean it all out and wash it. FINALLY – I did it! Anjali helped me, too. The house and the car are now clean. Just in time for the sprinkler system to get finished! (Thanks, John and Anni!) Everything is in an (almost) non-chaotic state at the moment. I’m waiting for it all to hit the fan… because that’s what always happens when you get your ducks in a row, right?

Dovy had another meeting with the Church on Friday. It went really well! For those of you who don’t know, he is helping to head off a team in the development of genealogical software hand-in-hand with the new FamilySearch. (Yeah, that was a little wordy.) Things are going well and he’s getting ready for a convention at the end of the month. :) I’m so very proud of his accomplishments. He is truly an excellent provider, a wonderful father, and a perfect husband. I thank my Heavenly Father every day, all day, that I was able to find Dovy.

My heart is really full right now. I feel so blessed.

The sisterly love – exultantly displayed here
by Anjali’s intense spectacle of emotion.
I love how Elli’s cheeks are being squished
into pudginess.

So happy together.
So lucky I caught this on camera.

Always my happy baby

They REALLY look like sisters here.
Their eyes are different shapes (Anjali favors mine
and Elli favors Daddy’s) but somehow they still have the same
expression in this picture.

Happiness in a moment

Elli stuck her feet in her poopy diaper.
Thus, the cleaning, spot-treating and…
creative drying.

No make-up. Hair not done. Baby girl cuddled up to Mommy.
Perfect.

Anjali built her train track all by herself!
(Daddy helped her finish it.)

Friends’ reception – I met the groom in Italy when he
was serving as a missionary and I was still in Young Women’s! haha
Time. FLIES.

Ah two sisters and matching dresses? That probably won't be happening here. Lyric is destined to be like me and sisterless. Oh well, I did dress my sons alike for church today, but somehow it is not the same.

And btw, you look beautiful with no make up. Don't take that nice skin for granted!
